Picture this: Mom and Dad walk in, brandishing a smartphone that looks like it’s survived multiple world wars.

It still has a physical keyboard, for crying out loud!

Our sales rep Dave, who has the patience of a saint and the knowledge of a tech guru, stepped in to save the day.

After a quick tutorial on what a “selfie” actually is and why it’s not a fancy coffee, they left with shiny new devices that could probably power a small spaceship.

And just in time—because their old phone’s idea of “taking a photo” was more like “accidentally dialing your boss at 2 AM.”

Gaming Madness: The FIFA Fever and Fortnite Fanatics

If we had a chwani for every time someone asked about EAFC25 during the holidays, we could’ve funded our own Tech Junction E-sports team!

The FIFA frenzy was real, folks.

We even had customers proposing to our sales reps—well, proposing a FIFA match, that is.

Our guy, Mike, took on all challengers, and we’re pretty sure he’s now the unofficial FIFA champ of the county.

One particularly enthusiastic customer tried to place his pre-order by offering a trade: his old PlayStation 2, a half-eaten sandwich, and what he claimed was a “lucky” penny.

We admired his creativity but politely declined.

And let’s not forget the Gran Turismo fanatics who came in looking for the ultimate gaming setup.

After a bit of back-and-forth over which gaming chair would best survive a rage quit (because let’s be honest, it happens), our team had them ready to build, battle, and brag to their friends.

Travel Tech Troubles and Triumphs: The Upcountry Tech Trek

For those of you brave enough to hit the road and visit family upcountry, we salute you.

And we also thank you for trusting us to outfit you with portable gaming consoles (Nintendo Switch), portable routers, and cameras that could capture every “scenic” roadside stop.

One dad, in a last-minute shopping frenzy, bought three portable routers because, as he put it, “You never know when the Wi-Fi will decide to betray you.”

Wise words, indeed.

We had another customer whose main goal was to keep the kids entertained during the long drive.

Enter the Nintendo Switch—a miracle worker in a small, portable package.

By the time they reached their destination, the kids had unlocked new levels, and the parents had unlocked the secret to a peaceful car ride.

As for the parents who left their youngest in our care while they ran back home—don’t worry, we’ve added “babysitting” to our list of services (just kidding!).

Gifting Extravaganza: Making the Nice List, Tech Style

The holiday spirit was alive and well as proud parents came in to reward their kids for acing their exams.

Our store became a hotspot for gifting—whether it was tablets for “studying” (wink, wink), Bluetooth speakers to turn every room into a dance floor, or smartwatches that had the kids feeling like secret agents.

One mom asked if we had a device that could guarantee straight A’s.

We offered her an iPad and a hearty good luck.

And then there was the dad who, after being convinced by his kids to get a gaming console “for educational purposes,” promptly spent the next 30 minutes trying to convince our sales rep that “FIFA teaches strategy and teamwork.”

Hilarious!

We agreed—because hey, any excuse to play more FIFA is a good one, right?
